"Brothers, Sisters, and all employees of Local 537,
I would like to give a heart felt thank you to all of you for your well wishes, prayers and generosity toward me during this tough time in my life. Your actions are exactly why I am so proud to be a member of Local 537. It truly shows what 'brotherhood' is all about, and how this Local takes care of it's own. Local 537 is the best local in the U.A. (United Association) hands down! I can't thank you enough for everything you have done." Brother Adam DeBoer.

Thank you very much for adding our link to the Pipefitter's website. We appreciate everything that the
Local has done in sponsoring our efforts over the past 3 years.
Please know Tom and I are very grateful for all that the Local does to sponsor the PKD Foundation
in an effort to find a cure for this disease. We are very blessed to have the support of such great family, friends, and co-workers.
Thanks again for all your support.
Sincerely, Tom and Deb Ayers (Tom, a 537 Member, and his wife Deb are proud parents of 2 daughters struggling with this rare form of Kidney desease)

Just wanted to say thanks and great job with the VIP program. It is a model for how our country should welcome back those men and women that have sacrificed so much over the past decade. Simply throwing money at reintegrating returning veterans is not the answer; saying thank you, giving them a chance to be a part of a team again, and teaching them a skill they exploit to support their families with long-term, is the answer.
Our returning veterans from these current conflicts offer a myriad of skills, abilities, and experiences that can be an asset to any industry. As Americans, we must be patient, supportive, and we must create a clear, viable transition path for those veterans wanting to leave the military and re-enter civilian life. Camaraderie and a sense of belonging/contributing to a team are what these men and women know best and what they seek the most. To be sure, I know very little about Pipefitters 537, but your message to veterans is quite clear: (1) Thank you, we appreciate you; (2) we want to teach you a valued skill that can become a foundation to a successful career; (3) we want you to join our community; we want you to become one of us. In my opinion, this approach is far more effective and successful than any other, and I hope other unions, companies, and organizations follow in your footsteps.” Best,TMahoney

All I want to say is that my late father, Donald was a proud member of 537 for many years. With the support of the Union finding work, whether here in Massachusetts or out of State, he and my mother managed to raise, house and educate three children. Union values were instilled in us throughout our childhood, and on into adulthood. I really want to congratulate the local and it's hardworking members for jobs well done, and for your 100th Anniversary! A sincere thank you to you all." M.L

Just saw the ad for pipefitters 537. Very nicely done with a good message. As a public employee without representation (DPW Supt) I support representation for workers. We "at will" employees are treated similarly to the union staff, so we get an indirect benefit, but not always. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. I thought it was a good message.
Have a good day." Bob B

Hello,"I am writing because I wanted to thank Leo Fahey and the Pipefitters for what they are doing for the Veterans. My husband is a Veteran and is a police officer but it is so reassuring to know that if he ever for any reason had to change his career that there are people in the world who truly care what he is giving for his country. Thank you so much!" Sincerely, P. Belanger

Congratulations on a GORGEOUS insert in the paper! It is refreshing to see an honest and complete union picture painted of Local 537 as a community partner where your members live and work, a good citizen to multiple non-profit orgs, and a committed employer focused on creating jobs and giving access to good health care (not many private contractors can claim all of that!). I was so proud that you included MDA and glad that we could add our thoughts to your many ringing endorsements.
